Bed Liner Vs Powder Coat
Looking for durability mostly as sometimes tree limbs will brush against it.
Bed liner vs powder coat. Its all just personal preference though 06 RCSB Silverado485 speed 46 - 22s -. I vote Powder coating its not as expensive as most would think. In reality it will probably be 50-60 for POR and paint.
But truck bed liner will hide more imperfections. I agree with this post. Thanks for the input.

Line-x is a protective coating that actually makes the item stronger than without it. It has a chance to bleed moisture underneath and rust. A DIY bedliner is a cheap alternative like the Rustoleum 06 H3 posted but it is not as durable as the professional grade stuff.
A bed liner coating is great for all sor. So with that said I dont really want to spend more than a couple hours at most prepping a deck for coating - it just isnt really costtime effective. Would you really want to go back and pay for them to spray again after each trip.
I have had both and although you can rub some trees and smooth boulders without damaging bed-linerhard hits against stuff like granite will. If you plan to bash against rocks much any bed-liner will gouge too. Spray with some adhesion promoter especially in the hard to sand areas and bed line it.
